FAIL of the Week: Nintendo Said WHAT?!

Jul. 24 2:29 PM by KenTheGreat1

In case you haven't heard, Nintendo's not going to be announcing any more first-party titles for the Wii this year. With all the triple-A titles launching in 2008, this is either the smartest strategy we've seen, or the most disappointing announcement to come out of E3. Did Sony and Microsoft just win the Holiday 2008/January 2009 war without even trying?

Seriously, what the Hell?

"We never said we were bringing anything [core-related] out this year, other than I said core gamers would be happy with (an E3 surprise), and they got Animal Crossing." -- Reggie Fils-Aime

I must reiterate: Animal Crossing?

Its not just fail of the week: its EPIC FAIL OF THE YEAR

Now he had the nerve to say that Animal Crossing is for the core gamer? Reggie needs to take a vacation because he must be dellusional due to stress.

God, Mr. Iwata needs to freakin' can the now Universally Hated Reggie Dumb-Ass.

Also, lmao at Darth Miyamoto!

It's a disappointment to say the least, and to be fair to Reggie and Miyamoto, I know it's more the company's decision than theirs.

The Tokyo Game Show should be very interesting then.

No average gamer plays, or has even

heard
of Animal Crossing. That's for the Hardcore

Nintendo definitely earns the fail of the week.
