The Morning Hangover #4

It's like pouring salt in the wound, then rubbing it raw with hot gravel and cleaning alcohol. Bad form, Capcom!

Just in case you didn't hear about it, cult-favorite Okami got a second lease on life with the Wii, and the people rejoiced. But a roll of the ending credits showed a dark side to this tale: the original staff from Clover Studios got cut out.

Okami fans (and gamers in general): what's wrong with this picture?

How sad! It's almost like Simba shooting his own father.

Yeesh, it's almost like Simba killing his own father.

Ouch, Capcom! I know you guys say you had no legal right to use the Clover logo, but c'mon. Do you really think that Hideki Kamiya would have sued? If anything, he probably would've been grateful that he got his due credit. Poor guy.

Spiking Clover in reaction to Okami's poor sales is one thing. But to release their own product (with more success) and not show them any gratitude? That smells. That smells worse than the rotting carcass of a dead wolf on a open highway in the middle of summer. (Really, really stinky.)

That's pretty lame Capcom
